<br />Methyl orange alkalinity was considerably lower than on previous
<br />occasions, possibly due to the use of a new Jug of distilled water
<br />which had not been previously used. I made the test twice with a
<br />newly standardized batch ot 50/N IfeSO. then made a third test with
<br />another newly standardized solution ot' 50111 .Heo<30lt.. Evidently one jug
<br />was not distilled water. (Feel confident now that readings are accurate.)

<br />Seining produced two young flannel-mouth suckers and a few redside
<br />shiners. Some mayfly larvae and caddisfly larvae were taken on bar
<br />west of Lodore Ranger Stat ion.
