Razorback sucker and flan- <br />nelmouth sucker hybrids have been collected in the Colorado River since <br />the late 1800's (Jordan 1891; Valdez et al 1982), and although hybrids <br />are found today hybridization does not appear to be a major factor <br />affecting the wellbeing of the species. <br /> <br />- 31 - <br />
