the water sales alternatives. Each successful water purchaser may be
required to evaluate the environmental effects of the site-specific facili-
ties used with the purchased water. In addition to a contract with the
water contracting entity, a purchaser may need to obtain a variety of
permits from the Bureau of Reclamation; the Forest Service (Special Use
Permits); the Corps of Engineers (404 Permits); and Eagle, Grand, or Summit
county permits or approvals, among others.
