Lower Colorado River Multi-Species Conservation program development <br /> <br />The MSCP is a cooperative Federal-Lower Basin States-Tribal-Private effort to conserve ESA- <br />listed and sensitive species dependent on the river. The Department of the Interior (DOl) and the <br />Lower Basin States have committed to cooperate and cost share (1: 1 ratio) in the development of <br />the MSCP, and the active participation of Native Americans, environmental and other interested <br />parties is being encouraged. This program has the goal of benefitting more than 100 Federal- or <br />State-listed, candidate and sensitive species (called the "included species") and their habitats within <br /> <br />33 <br />
