<br />File names with the "DBF" suffix; these are usually files with additional length frequency or individual length data
<br />(species of special concern), but sometimes files with additional locality or sampling data such as flow meter readings.

<br />documentation in RIP database repository files, additional time will be required to track and
<br />obtain needed collection data not on container labels. For many of these earlier sets of
<br />collections, copies of original field sheets, sample processing data forms, and associated
<br />reports will be needed. Once in the catalog, selected data can be downloaded to dBase files
<br />and submitted to the database repository.
<br />As taxon. specific lots of specimens are cataloged, they are assigned a sequential catalog
<br />number, designated as voucher, study, or reference material (denoted by a V, S, or R,
<br />respectively, in the storage field of the primary record and the lower left comer of the
<br />
