Eight juvenile razorback suckers were captured in a small wetland <br />with abundant aquatic and emergent vegetation that was filled with water <br />from the Green River during a high streamflow in 1993 (Modde and Wick. <br />1997). The survival of 28 young-of-the-year (YOY) razorback suckers col- <br />lected in 1995 and 45 YOY collected in 1996 from a 147-ha depression <br />wetland along the Green River (Modde. 1997) demonstrated that larval <br />suckers can survive in floodplain depressions during their first growing <br />
