The <br />floodplain is vegetated by saltcedar seedlings and sparse willows and is inundated at <br />approximately 105 m3/s (3700 ft3/s). The low terrace is just inundated by floods of i60 mJ/s <br />(5700 ft3/s) and is densely vegetated with mature saltcedar. The low terrace was likely <br />abandoned during the mid-1960's due to a decrease n peak floods. The cott~nwood terrace is <br />characterized by mature cottonwood trees and abundant non-riparian shrubs. such as sagebrush. <br />It was likely abandoned in the late 1920's. <br /> <br />48 <br />
