<br />. .. t. <br />~ <br /> <br />UPDATE 7/12/74 <br /> <br />SQUAWFISH - WILLOW BEACH NFH <br /> <br />Squawfish fry observed swimming to sllrface in hatchery tank, raceway A9 <br />and Ala and raceway Bl on July 10, 1974. Swimming fry observed at head end <br />of raceway AlD. This is a distance of 200 feet that the fry have traveled <br />since hatching on July 5, 1974. <br /> <br />It is very difficult to estimate the total number of fry in raceways <br />A9 and Al0. There are certainly over ten thousand. We moved approximately <br />five thousand fry from raceway A9 to Bl on July 11th and 12th. <br /> <br />The 'reci rcul at i on pump for raceways A9and A 10 was turned off upon <br />discovery of fry a few feet from the intake; Hopefully, we will have a <br />large percentage of the fry moved to raceway Bl before having to restart <br />recirculation. <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br /><! <br /> <br />258 <br />
