Rocks. A reservoir at Cameo
could be managed according to either water temperature
criteria. Water resource management projects upstream
from Cameo may be better simulated bv the fIrSt criterion
(normal 'll."ater temperatures at Cameo) 'because the stream
flow.- above Cameo would be subject to othe!'\\ise natural
hydrometeorolopcal conditions.
The suitable squawflSh and chub spawning temperatures
are superimposed on the temperature discharge plot, Clear-
ly. the spawning tem.perature requirement for squawf15b at
Black Rocks would be met fot' all discharges less than the

me~n July flow (:!33 cms) at Black Rocks and for dis-
chrges at least up to 350 ems depending upon the ap-
plicable water temperature criteria at Cameo. However. the
chub spawning temperature could require a Black. Rocks
flo\\' r3n~ in June as narrow as :70 to 480 cms depending
upon the applicable water temperature criteria at Cameo.
The mean June flow is 3:5 ems at Black Rocks.
The results of the \"alidation check at the State Line
!!3l!e, 'xhich is 10c:1ted 8 kilometers below Black Rocks, was
:'O.13uC and -0.180(' for the normal June and July hydro-
mett'orulogicaJ conditions. respectively.
