sonal feeding ecology of nonnative fIshes in var-
ious habitats.
This study was funded by the Recovery Im-
plementation Program for Endangered Fish Spe-
cies in the Upper Colorado River Basin. The
revovery program is a joinl effort of the U.S. Fish
and Wildlife Service, U.S. Bureau of Reclama-
tion, Western Area Power Administration, states
of Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming, upper basin
water users, and environmental organizations. We
thank the U.S. National Park Service for per-
mission to work within Dinosaur National Mon-
ument. K. Bestgen, J. Bundy, S. Meismer, and
M. Williams assisted with fieldwork. G. Haines,
C. McAda, D. Snyder, R. Valdez, and two anon-
ymous reviewers provided useful comments on
earlier drafts of the manuscript. This paper is
contribution no. 56 of the Colorado State Uni-
versity Larval Fish Laboratory.
