quality and set up a fisb disease lab. From 1979
to 1981 he worked for Biomedical Research on
fish vaccines, when he became fishery director for
the Pyramid Lake tribe. In 1982 he became ex-
ecutive director, Pyramid Lake Fishery.
Roger Sorensen received his BS in Wildlife
Management from Arizona State University in

1976. In 1976 he was employed by the Bureau of
Land Management in Wyoming. In 1977, he be-
gan working for the Arizona Game and Fish De-
partment, Phoenix, on stream inventories to iden-
tify potential and existing Apache trout habitat.
In 1980, he became a hatchery biologist and in
1984 the hatchery program manager for Arizona
Game and Fish Department.
