Wildlife Resources in Salt Lake City. Bibliographies and library <br />catalogs were also examined, which aided in locating species- <br />specific papers and books. The second component of the <br />literature review was reviewing regional fishery guides and <br />general fishery biology textbooks. This information was utilized <br />in summarizing description, distribution, reproduction, habitat, <br />and biology of each species. -? <br />In the Species Accounts section, information from the <br />literature review was summarized under eight headings: 1) native <br />distribution, 2) distribution and status in the UCRB, 3) general <br />e <br />habitat, 4) examples of environmental factors affecting <br />distribution and abundance (including temperature, flows, <br />dissolved oxygen, pH, salinity, and total dissolved solids), 5) <br />general behavior, 6) reproduction (including maturation, spawning <br />requirements, spawning behavior and biology, and eggs and young), <br />7) examples of interactions with native CRB fishes, and 8) <br />options for control in the UCRB (including mechanical removal, <br />chemical treatment, biological control, and physicochemical <br />manipulations). <br />16
