STUDY OBJECTIVES <br />The purpose of this report is to summarize options for <br />controlling the relative abundance and negative impacts of <br />nonnative fishes on native species in the UCRB and recommend a <br />course of action for implementing those options. Objectives of <br />this project were to (1) conduct a comprehensive literature <br />review to evaluate life-history attributes and abiotic and biotic <br />factors that influence the abundance and distribution of each of <br />the 34 nonnative, nonsalmonid fishes in the UCRB, and (2) develop <br />recommendations for methods to reduce the abundance of nonnative <br />fishes, restrict their distributions, and reduce their negative <br />interactions with the endangered fishes. <br />14
