<br />Several authorized Federal water projects as yet unbuilt have a
<br />potential to provide water services to future energy development directly
<br />or indirectly. Those close to future energy sites would provide
<br />direct supplies whereas others could do so by water exchange-transfer
<br />arrangements. The Bureau of Reclamation has been asked by the Secretary
<br />of the Interior to review the following authorized Federal Water
<br />Projects with regard to their possible development with allocations
<br />to energy purposes. These studies are presently underway; thus,
<br />the potential allocations for energy presented below are preliminary
<br />and subject to change. Comparative data are:
