Of this 8%, one-third are <br />located in Canada, and most of these are from Ontario. <br />England and Sweden are the next most frequent foreign <br />project locations, each with about one-tenth of the 8%. <br />USFWS Region <br />This field contains the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Ser- <br />vice Region number that corresponds to the State(s) <br />discussed in the article. There are seven regions <br />(Fig. 3). "Many" is used in this field when the article is <br />general and pertains to any or all regions or when <br />regional location is not specified in the article. <br />The highest number of published reports were from <br />Region 4 (the Southeast), followed by the Northeast <br />and the Pacific States (Table 2). <br />Ecoregion <br />This field codes the geographic focus of the article <br />by ecoregion (province/section level; Fig. 4). <br />Ecoregions are coded as "many" if there are more than <br />10 or if the article is general in content.
