The Recovery Program is ajoint <br />etlort of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Western Area Power <br />Administration, the states of Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming, Upper Basin water users, environmental <br />organizations, and the Colorado River Energy Distributors Association. <br /> <br />This investigation was Project No. FG-l 0 of the Five Year Flaming Gorge Research Program <br />of the Recovery Program. The study was conducted by BIOIWEST, Inc. for 2 years under Contract <br />No. 90-2558 with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (UDWR), in cooperation with the <br />Flaming Gorge Work Group and the Bureau of Reclamation. Leo Lentsch, Native Species <br />Coordinator for UDWR, was priricipal administrator for this project, and Larry Crist, Senior Staff <br />Fisheries Biologist with Bureau of Reclamation, provided technical and administrative assistance. <br />Data on dam operations were provided courtesy of Tom Ryan and Brad Vickers, Bureau of <br />Reclamation, Salt Lake City, Utah.
