ACKNOWLEDGMENTS <br />The author wishes to thank those who participated in this project. Thad <br />Bingham, Brian Scheer, Matt Toner, J. T. Romatzke, and Desiree Powell assisted <br />with field collections. Thad also was instrumental in deploying the automated <br />telemetry system and assisted with implanting transmitters. <br />Shelby Coleman, owner of property surrounding the Grand Valley Irrigation <br />Company Diversion Dam, permitted access to the site. Representatives from the <br />Grand Valley Irrigation Company, Grand Junction, Colorado, especially Phil <br />Bertrand, granted access across the diversion dam and also provided coordination <br />between the landowner and Service employees.
