T T
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
The first year's work on this project was coordinated by David Langlois
of the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Charles G. Prewitt was responsible
for habitat description and assessment, Edmund J. Wick for the collection
and identification of juvenile and adult fishes and Darrel E. Snyder (as
CSU research assistant to Dr. Clarence A. Carlson) for the collection,
identification, and photographic documentation of larval and early juvenile
fishes (the latter has not yet been fulfilled due to a delay in provision
of appropriate apparatus by the Division of Wildlife). Mr. Prewitt was
assisted by Morgan Downing and LeonckrJ ujIkIou91hby . Mr. Wick
and Mr. Snyder were assisted by John J. Cancalosi and Ernest Montgomery.
Additional laboratory assistance has been provided by Robert E. Hufziger and
Leo D. Lentsch, Colorado `state University students conducting special studies
on the early development of two cyprinids. Robert Judy and Lindsay Lewan
have helped conduct a literature search (not yet completed) for publications
useful in assisting identification of the larval and early juvenile specimens.
ii
