Acknowledgements <br />Many individuals contributed to the success and completion of the <br />Colorado River Fishery Project Final Reports. First, we would like to <br />recognize the many Colorado River Fishery Project personnel who were <br />instrumental in gathering the data and providing input into this report. <br />FWS field biologists C. W. McAda, R. D. Burdick, R. M. McNatt, K. C. <br />Harper, P. G. Mangan, R. P. Smith and M. A. Zimmerman worked long and <br />arduous hours gathering basic data and analyzing informatioTq. C. , <br />Prewitt assisted the project both as a member of the staff and as,,t <br />• contractor. His assistance in working with physical habitat, modeling; <br />and data interpretation is greatly appreciated. Assistance from FN <br />fisheries personnel D. L. Skates, B. C. Nilson and F. B. Lilly was also <br />significant. Many temporary Biological Aids worked long and difficult <br />hours assisting in the collection of field data. We appreciated their <br />dedication and commitment. <br />Appreciation is also expressed to the State of Colorado Division of <br />Wildlife Resources for their cooperative support in gathering and sharing <br />data. Particular thanks goes to Tom Lytle, Nongame Specialist in Grand <br />Junction for his assistance in our work in Colorado. Also, we would like <br />to thank the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources for the use of the Logan <br />Fisheries Experiment Station and for the cooperation and assistance they <br />gave us, particularly Douglas Day, Al Heggen, Donald Andriano and Ronald <br />Goede. We would like to acknowledge J. F. Rinckel, Projects Manager of <br />the Bureau of Reclamation Grand Junction Projects office, and his staff <br />for their tolerance, cooperation and assistance in carrying out this <br />project. <br />Our reports could not have been completed without the assistance of <br />the Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Regional office staff. Par- <br />ticular thanks are expressed to the Reports Branch, the Word Processing <br />staff, and Drafting staff. Vera Kirk of the Reports staff spent many <br />long hours editing and in final preparation of this report. Also, Bureau <br />of Reclamation Biological Studies staff, Reed Harris and Bob Williams, <br />deserve special recognition for their assistance on this project for <br />original project design, assistance in field work, and report editing. <br />Secretarial and administrative duties for this project were handled <br />quite capably by Cecelia Swainston, Barbara Hayden, and Marge Burfield <br />of the CRFP staff. <br />We also wish to acknowledge Dr. Curtis Wilcot and Rajiv Mehta of the <br />FWS Western Energy and Land Use Team for their extensive assistance <br />and advice in data analysis and use of the MANAGE database system. <br />Finally, we would like to acknowledge Bob Shields, Deputy Regional <br />Director of Region 6 of the FWS for his efforts in getting this project <br />• initiated, and his continued support of project goals and objectives.
