THREE-YEAR OBJECTIVES
Following are the objectives for Calendar years 1988 through 1991. They are
arranged in sequence and followed with specific tasks, timeframes, and
discussions.
Objective 1
Establish an ad hoc group of experts under the technical work group of the
Implementation Committee to provide direction and oversight to the propagation
program. This group would provide oversight and direction including assessment
a.
of fish needs, development of~genetic resource management plan, engineering
assessments and evaluations, and overall long-term propagation strategies.
Task 1: Establish ad hoc work group and develop direction.
April 15, 1988
Task 2: Obtain funding and hire a full-time fish culture expert within the Fish
and Wildlife Service to plan, develop, and manage the propagation
effort.
July 15, 1988
Task 3: Expand and update this 3-year propagation plan, taking into
consideration the direction developed by the ad hoc group.
