The author wishes to acknowledge and thank the following individuals for their contribution to
this investigation. Dr. Richard Valdez provided valuable insight throughout the study and reviewed
all documentation. Anthony Wasowicz and Bryan Cowdell functioned as Senior Biologists on the
project and contnbuted greatly to the success of field efforts. Other biologists that provided valuable
' assistance in the field include Leslie Brown, Sheila Rogers, Shaunda Kennedy, Peggy Wood and Larry
Hill. Lydia A. (Penny) Trinca managed the database for the project and provided assistance in data
analysis. Darren Frodsham did an excellent lob as pilot for all aenal telemetry efforts.
Tom Nesler of the Colorado Division of Wildlife was helpful in establishing a workable study
plan and also provided assistance in the field. The Colorado Division of Wildlife's Sportsman
Information Center assisted in collecting angler recapture data for the study. Keith Rose and Patty
' Schrader coordinated the study for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Their cooperation and input
was appreciated. John Hamill with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service also provided administrative
assistance.
Jim Pankonin, Public Works Director for the City of Craig, provided valuable logical assistance
