TASK 3
Identification of Data/Research Needs
1. Description of data/research need: Evaluate the tentative relationship
between flow/temperature regimes observed in the Yampa (f.e., is C/E
meaningfully greater during flow regimes like 1983). If so, shy? Develop
and test hypotheses. At the same time, is Y4Y abundance in the [ireen
River inversely correlated with the same conditions that produced apparent
high-production years in the Yampa?
2. Application of data/research: This knowledge is essential if meaningful
evaluations of current proposed PNASSIM channel maintenance flows are to
be made. It also will be required if alternative flow regimes are to be
proposed.
