Identification of Data/Research Needs
1. Description of data/research need: Determine if a quanitfiable
relationship between larval squawfish abundance and recruitment to
subsequent year-classes exists (CDOW).
2. Application of data/research: If such a relationship exists, it will
provide guidance relative to~river management for larval production at key
sites.

Evaluate current larval methodologies, perhaps using a FWS biometrician to
