Identification of Data/Research Needs
i. Description of data/research need: Evaluate the effects of given
flow/temperature regimes upon nonnative species.
2. Application of data/research: Some data exist that suggests that most
Yampa River nonnative species are suppressed during "high" flaw years
(e. g., 1983, 1984) while native species have enhanced production under the
same conditions. The validity of these data need to be tested by scrutiny
of existing data and continued sampling as various flow regimes occur.

Continue ongoing Yampa River studies as designed. Initiate similar
