Purpose: To collect temperature data from CRFP field offices. in Vernal, Utah, <br />and Grand Junction, Colorado; format data for incorporation into data bases <br />and models. Provide data to biologists -for backwater study and calibration of <br />temperature models. Additional data collected from USGS Water Resource Data <br />annual summaries 1979-1983. <br />D. Sample Design/Methods: Degree-days for Maybell and Stateline gauges were calculated <br />_by using average of maximum daily temperatures and geometric mean temperatures. <br />h da were then subtracted from absolute temperatures specified <br />by field biologists. The absolute temperatures were specs ie as and i20°C. <br />A~ri~mulatinn of Degree-Days started when the water temperature reached 12°C. <br />E.
