Diversion Dam. The I-70 highway is on the south side of the river and the <br />diversion canal is on the north side of the river at this location. The <br />Bureau favors construction of a selective fish passage structure on the north <br />side of the river at the Price-Stub Diversion Dam because there is available <br />space for construction and access is possible on that side of the river. <br />However, this land is in private ownership so obtaining permission may be <br />difficult to obtain and probably will be costly. <br />Many of the nonnative fishes in the Colorado River below the Price-Stub <br />Diversion Dam are absent in the river reach above the Price-Stub Dam. The <br />fish that are absent above the dam are identified by a hyphen (-) in Table 1. <br />cc: John Hamill <br />
