ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

This study was funded by the Recovery Implementation Program for Endangered
Fish Species in the Upper Colorado River Basin. The Recovery Program is a joint effort
of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Western Area Power
Administration, states of Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming, upper basin water users,
environmental organizations, and the Colorado River Energy Distributors Association.
Several researchers through the years contributed to the collection of razorback sucker
movement data. Dave Irving collected movement data from telemetered razorback sucker
between 1993 and 1995. Robert Muth, Bob Burdick, and Dick Wydoski reviewed a
previous draft of this report and offered many helpful suggestions.

~, r!~1 ! f RECOVERY PRffiRAM FOR

-"'- TI-IE E'{\.1DANGERED FISHES
OF THE UPPER COIORAID

DISCLAIMER

The opinions and recommendations expressed in this report are those of the
authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service,
National Park Service or the Recovery Implementation Program.

Mention of trade names, commercial products, or firms and businesses does not
constitute endorsement or recommendation for use by the authors, the U.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service, National Park Service, U.S. Department of Interior, or the Recovery
Implementation Program.

2
