3. Although variation existed in the times spent in the river, both electro fishing and telemetry data
indicated that most pikeminnow used the Duchesne River during the spring, summer and fall
months, and moved into the Green River during the winter.

4. Diel movement data suggested that Colorado pikeminnow undergo daily movement patterns
suggestive of nocturnal feeding forays.

5. Timing of movement into and out of the Duchesne River and diel telemetry data suggested use
of the Duchesne River by Colorado pikeminnow is linked to opportunistic feeding behavior and
thereby dependent on the available prey densities within the tributary.

Recommendation

1. Flows sufficient to support the present fish community that provides a prey base for Colorado
pikeminnow should be maintained.
