Results indicated that flows near bankfull <br />cause significant transport of the bed material, and have a magnitude of <br />\ <br /> <br />approximately 625 cms and 1200 cms in the upper and lower reaches of the <br />study area respectively. Flows of this magnitude correspond closely with <br />the effective discharge, and a study of the downstream hydraulic geometry <br />of the reach indicated that the results from the flow modeling sites apply <br />well to the entire reach. <br /> <br />.- ~ .) <br />
