We had hoped to complete this project and publish the <br />proceedings sooner, but ran into a time crunch as we completed our new <br />book, Water & the Shaping of California. <br /> <br />We know that these published proceedings make a great addition to any <br />reference library because they contain a complete transcript of an <br />invitation-only symposium of leading Colorado River stakeholders. <br /> <br />As with the proceedings of the 1997 symposium, the 75th Anniversary <br />Colorado River Compact Symposium," this new 158-page book will-be <br />offered for sale on our on-line shopping cart at www.water-ed.org <br /> <br />Both the 1997 and 1999 Colorado River symposia were organized unde] <br />our Colorado River Project, and as of this moment, we are just beginnin <br />work on a third symposium that we would like to hold in September 20( <br />in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
