Site-Specific Management Actions To Achieve Recovery The following are site-specific management actions necessary to achieve recovery. Additional actions that contribute to recovery are identified in the Recovery Implementation Program Recovery Action Plan (RIPRAP). Green River Subbasin 1. Provide and legally protect flows necessary to recover the Colorado pikeminrlow, including tributaries necessary to life history; i.e., Yampa, White, Duchesne, and Price rivers. 2. Maintain unimpeded fish passage within occupied habitats. 3. Regulate nonnative fish releases in the main river, flood plain, and tributaries through agreements. 4. Implement nonnative fish control, as needed, to recover the Colorado pikeminnow. Upper Colorado River Subbasin 1. Provide and legally protect flows necessary to recover the Colorado pikeminnow, including tributaries necessary to life history; i.e., Gunnison River. 2. Maintain unimpeded fish passage within occupied habitats; insure passage over Price-Stub Dam and Government Highline Dam, and continued passage over Redlands Diversion. 3. Regulate nonnative releases in the main river, flood plain, and tributaries through agreements. 4. Implement nonnative fish control, as needed, to recover the Colorado pikeminnow. 5. Investigate modification of Aspinal Units for warmed releases to allow for upstream range expansion in the Gunnison River. San Juan River Subbasin 1. Provide and legally protect flows necessary to recover the Colorado pikeminnow. 2. Investigate passage over six most downstream diversions structures. 3. Regulate nonnative releases in the main river, flood plain, and tributaries through agreements. 4. Implement nonnative fish control, as needed, to recover the Colorado pikeminnow.
