6-2

6.1.2 Impacts To T&E Species From Project Operation
Since no threatened or endangered fishes have been recently captured
near the JH-1 project site, the impact of the project operation is expected
to be negligible on the population of these species in the Upper Colorado
River.

6.1.3 Mitigative Operating And Maintenance Procedures
No mitigative operating and maintenance procedures are offered in this
document because of the absence of T&E fishes in the effectual project area.
However, information is provided herein to enable calculation of various
aspects of the larval drift and further analyses, if necessary. Provided in
the appendix are mean weekly drift densities for all fish species pooled
(Table B-6); mean weekly densities for the five most common species (Table
B-7); mean drift densities for six diel time periods (Table B-8); total
lengths and maximum diameters of drifting fish larvae (Table B-9); and
conversion factors for total length to maximum diameter of drifting fish
larvae (B-10).
