The powerhouse would be equipped with trashracks with a bar space of
1.5 x 6 inches to prevent large debris from entering the hydroturbines. The
project sponsor has also submitted a design for a slotted surface skimming
structure for trapping, containing and diverting floating fish larvae. This
design is included in the First Addendum to Jacobson Hydro No.1, FERC
Project 4515 (Jacobson 1983), and would be activated only if T&E fishes are
found by this investigation.
