The first field trip should begin no later than July 1 for: <br />a. relocating, netting, and electrofishing radiotagged adult Colorado <br />squawfish <br />b. working larval drift nets on both rivers at the confl uence, Cross <br />Canyon, Cataract Lake, and Ten Cent Rapid <br /> <br />4. The second trip should begin around July 15 for: <br />a. rel ocati ng and netti ng rad iotagged adult Colorado squawfi sh <br />b. working larval drift nets on both rivers at the confluence, Cross <br />Canyon, Cataract Lake, and Ten Cent Rapid <br />c. seining for YOY from confluence to Clearwater Canyon <br /> <br />5. The third trip should begin around August 7 for: <br />a. working larval drift nets on both rivers at the confluence, Cross <br />Canyon, Cataract Lake, and Ten Cent Rapid <br />b. seining for YOY from confl uence to Cl earwater Canyon <br />c. el ectro fi shi ng and netting for endangered fi shes <br /> <br />6. Trips 4, 5, and 6 should be held in late August and September to: <br />a. seine for YOY from confluence to Clearwater Canyon <br />b~ electrofish and net for endangered fishes <br /> <br />7. Launch sites should be al ternated between Potash and Mineral Bottom <br />(for seining the lower 40 miles of the Green River) <br /> <br />8. Strategic location of 1 arval dri ft nets in 1986 on both rivers at the <br />confluence and in and below Cataract Canyon should provide insight into <br />the origin of the YOY squawfish in this region. <br /> <br />
