It dropped to near 60 cfs in early September and then
rose back up to close to 400 cfs by late October, at the end of the study. The river was
flowing at less than 100 cfs for about two weeks in late August and early September.
This range of flows is typical in the decrease down to a minimum then back up to a
higher level in fall although this year's summer flows are low compared to most years.
Draft Yampa River Radio Telemetry Report
Miller Ecological Consultants, Inc.
Page 49
December 13, 1996
