during the lowest flows of the summer and was located in a large, deep pool at RM 77.3
(Figures 7 and 8). The pool and upstream adjacent run at this location encompass nearly
0.3 river miles. The run is a deep slow moving run that drops off into the pool near a
bend in the river. Maximum depth in the pool was estimated at 15 feet, and specific
structures or habitat at the bottom of the pool were not determined. CS684 was found in
a variety of locations in this pool and run habitat. Because of its position adjacent to
private land, a 24 hour observation was never conducted on CS684.
