Mean daily flows at <br />Jensen varied from a high of2,959 cfs in December to 2,401 cfs in February (Table 4). Despite lower <br />releases from Flaming Gorge Dam in March, flows at Jensen were higher from the start of spring <br />runoff from the Yampa River. <br /> <br />Table 4. <br /> <br />4.2 Flows During Winter of 1994-95 <br /> <br />Releases from Flaming Gorge Dam in winter of 1994-95 were of a lower volume with less daily <br />fluctuation than in the previous winter of 1993-94. In 1994-95, mean daily flows of the Green River <br />at Greendale varied from a high of 1,305 cfs in December to 828 cfs in March, and monthly volume <br />released varied from 80,250 acre-feet in December to 50,920 acre-feet in March (Table 5). Hourly <br />releases from December through February varied by less than 300 cfs (Figure 2). On a daily basis, <br />hourly releases were nearly constant (Figure 3). Hence, a relatively low volume, stable release <br />scenario was established for winter of 1994-95. <br /> <br />10 <br />
