dL
,4.
Wyoming Area Office
Bureau of Reclamation
Basin. The operating plans are updated monthly to reflect changing inflow conditions. This
report focuses on the information associated with the April expected operating plan.
Table 1 also includes the accompanying information for water year 2007 and the 30-year average
(1978-2007) for comparison. Graph 1 through Graph 3 displays this information in graphical
format. Based on the April expected North Platte River Operating Plan, the North Platte
Pathfinder ownership (refer to NPRAOP page 3) is estimated to reach a maximum ownership
content of 954.2 kaf by the end of June, approximately 62 kaf short of filling.
Assuming the Pathfinder Modification Project was in operation and a North Platte Pathfinder
ownership accrual of approximately 669.1 kaf, the Pathfinder Environmental Account would be
estimated to have accrued approximately 21.3 kaf and the Wyoming Account would be estimated
to have accrued 12.5 kaf (approximately 3.18% and 1.87% of the 669.1 kaf Pathfinder accrual,
respectively).
The Glendo and Kendrick ownerships would not fill given expected inflow and outflow
conditions. In addition, the Glendo and Kendrick ownerships are not expected to come into
priority for accrual in 2008. For the Glendo Ownership this is due to the anticipation of May
releases from Guernsey Reservoir for irrigation, which will draw the lower reach gain through
for delivery. The Kendrick Ownership would only come into priority if Pathfinder fills.
Releases from Guernsey Reservoir are expected to be in response to downstream demand.
Reclamation will continue to update the North Platte River operating plans on a monthly basis in
response to changing inflow conditions. Reclamation will prepare the determination of
forecasted supply estimate again on May 1 and June 1 with regard to the need to allocate storage.
For additional information regarding current reservoir contents and releases, please call toll free
1-800-253-8737 or visit our website (http:/www.usbr.gov/gp) and follow the water operations
link to access Reclamation's HydroMet Data system.
