Colorado is prohibited from diverting water from the North Platte River and its tributaries <br />for irrigation of more than 135,000 ecres in Jackson County during one irrigation seacon. <br />('Ibis value was changed to 145,000 acres by the Court on June 14, 1953). <br />2. Colorado is prohibited from storing more than 17.000 AF of water for irrigation purposes <br />from the North Platte River and its tributaries in Jacksan County beta+een October lst of <br />any year and September 30th of the following year. <br />3. Colorado is prohibited from exporting aut oE the basin of the North Platte River and its <br />tributaries in Jackson County more than 60,000 AF in any consecutive 10-year period. <br />4. Colorado and Wyoming are required to maintain accurate records of irrigated acreage, <br />volumes of water storecl, and volumes of water exportecl for incpection at all times. <br />5. This decree does not a[fect or restrict the use or diversion of water [rom the North Platte <br />River and its tributaries for ordinary and usual domestic, municipal, and stock watering <br />purposes. <br />-104-
