can be calculated two ways: The first way is to convert total production to acre-feet and multiply by <br />2. It is commonly understood and reported in the news that an acre-foot of water will annually <br />supply 2 average size-families. Whether this is accurate or not, it is a consistent and standard factor <br />that all water systems can use. If you want to use a number that is closer to the actual average SFR <br />use, the second way to calculate method #4 can be used. Take the actual annual production in <br />gallons and divide by the average annual SFR use uer month. This average annual SFR can be <br />derived by each water system individually and used in the calculation or the average SPWRAP SFR <br />useage could be used. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Based on my analysis of all four methods, I would recommend using <br />Method 4 as the most accurate and simple method to calculate SFTEs to make SPWRAP <br />assessments. <br />Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
