aquifer is not highly localized; thus, drilling in the nearby vicinity of the existing well will <br />penetrate the same production zone that is currently used. <br />Conventional water well completion practices will be used to complete the intake portion of <br />the well -that is, use of a well screen spanning the production zone, and a gravel pack in <br />the annulus behind the well screen. <br />Well Construction <br />The well should be cased with steel casing (having .280 inch wall thickness) with welded <br />joints, and a stainless steel well screen installed. The well screen should be 150 ft. long, <br />covering the interval 2670-2820 ft. below ground surface. The well should use either 6 or <br />8-inch diameter well casing, with a minimum of 4-inch gravel pack thickness in the <br />annulus around the well screen. Grouting and cementing requirements will be in <br />accordance with Colorado state statutes pertaining to water wells for drinking water <br />supplies. <br />End <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
