The following table compares revenues and expenses for the governmental activities for 2004 and 2005.
<br />Governmental activities revenues increased significantly in 2005 over 2004 due largely to an increased
<br />payment from the Fountain Valley Authority and various contracts entered into by the Bureau of
<br />Reclamation that apply to the Southeastern District's repayment contract. Each of these sources of
<br />revenues are appropriately listed here, but are not directly under the control of District management.
