,K~, f_~~r Urban Watersheds: A listing of all known K„ data for urban watersheds is
sho~rn in Table 6. Those data were compiled (Sabol, 1987 and 1993) for urban watersheds
throughout the United States, and since the hydrologic response of urban watersheds to
rainf~all is somewhat independent of geographic location, those data, regardless of location,
are cleemed useful for selecting K~ values for use in Colorado.
There are 43 sets of urban data in Table 6. ~he Kr, values range from a minimum of 0.0113
to a maximum of 0.1029, with a mean of 0.0313 and a sample standard deviation of
0.02i~0. The last three data sets in Table 6 have unexpectedly high K~ values, and the
excl~ision of those three high data sets results in a maximum of 0.0596, mean of 0.0267
and ;~ample standard deviation of 0.0107.
