Water Efficiency Grant Program Final Project WET Grant Report (CWN)
FY 2008 2006 2006 Nat'I 2006 2006 Regional
Table 3. This support mirrors other successful water education programs in other successful states,
including California and Arizona.
Compared to other states, CAIN is also engaged in innovative efforts. These include the
sponsored specialized workshops and school district curricula integration in Aurora and Durango.
Such efforts have gained some national attention within the Project DIET network. C~XIN plans
on building upon these successes.
~XIe believe with such success, Project ~XIET has paved the way for Colorado to become a
national leader in delivering effective and innovative education to educators and students. Our
water education methods are successful in bringing educators and their students from awareness to
action, and C~XIN will continue using the well researched and engaging Project ~XIET materials
combined with building local partnerships with water utilities, school districts, and universities
across Colorado to do just that. At relatively low cost, C~XIN will continue to provide more in
depth and meaningful learning opportunities throughout Colorado.
Page 12
