III.Other North Platte Basin-Specific Criteria
Process:
1. Applicants should prepare an application form
used by the State IBCC and CWCB.
2. Applicants are required to submit 20 hard copies
of their application to the North Platte BRT
contact person to the address listed above. In
addition to 20 hard copies, applicants may wish
to send applications to North Platte BRT
members bye-mail. Contact Kent Crowder at
970 723-4660 to obtain a current list of member
e-mail addresses or mailing addresses for those
members who do not have an a-mail address.
3. The North Platte BRT recommends that
applicants attend the North Platte BRT meeting
when submitting their 20 hard copy applications
in order to present and discuss their proposal
with North Platte BRT members. Contact the
Chair to secure time on a North Platte BRT
meeting agenda.
4. The North Platte BRT recommends that
applicants attend or be available by phone
during the North Platte BRT meeting during
which their application will be reviewed and
considered for approval by the voting members
of the North Platte BRT.
Communication o f Roundtable Approval:
1. The North Platte BRT Chair will provide a letter
to the applicant, approving or disapproving the
application. This letter will include any minority
reports related to the decision.
2. The North Platte BRT Chair will submit a copy of
the letter to the applicant directly to the CWCB.
3. The applicant is responsible for submitting the
application to the CWCB to meet their
designated deadline and requirements.
Applications will NOT be forwarded to the CWCB
by the North Platte BRT Chair.
Rio Grande Basin
Meeting Schedule/Location
The Rio Grande BRT meets monthly the 2nd Tuesday
of the month for 3 hours from 2:00-5:00 p.m. They
meet in Alamosa at Adams State College.
