Because of the sensitive nature of working with private land and water
holders, DU will have authority over the disclosure of all data and will have control of all data
concerning these projects.
• Method or procedure that will be used or followed to accomplish the task and ident? who will
undertake the task:
DU will work in cooperation with other team members to develop this list which will be
primarily based on projects that DU has been considering for implementation. The procedure to
be followed to develop this list will include:
1. Develop a list of possible projects for implementation from approximately the stateline
to Platteville on the main stem of the South Platte River and on tributaries. This list will
be based primarily on projects that are being considered for implementation by DU but
can include projects from other sources.
2. Review and modify this potential list with other team members and produce list of
candidate projects for further evaluation.
3. Produce GIS-based project map.
• Description of the major deliverables/products that will be produced upon successful completion of
the task.'
The list of candidate projects and the GIS-based project map.
Task 3 -Assemble Data and Determine Feasibility of Implementing Alternative Agricultural Water
Transfer Methods To The List of Candidate Projects
Description of task:
Sufficient engineering, environmental, legal, economic and institutional data will be
obtained/developed to serve as a basis for selecting projects for implementation of alternative
agricultural water transfer methods.
