4. Relationship to Basin-Wide Water Needs A ssessments: The Basin Roundtable Chairs <br />shall include in their approval letters a de scription of how the water activity either <br />furthers the Roundtable’s basin-wide water needs assessment or meets a consumptive or <br />non-consumptive water supply need identif ied in the roundtable’s working needs <br />assessment. <br />5. Time allowed for executed contracts: La nguage was amended to provide additional <br />expected <br />flexibility for the applicants. “Successful applicants are to execute a contract <br />with CWCB within 6 months of award of a lo an or grant. If a grant or loan is not <br />executed within this timeframe, staff may recommend to the CWCB that the funds be <br />reverted back to the respective accounts based on lack of due diligence.” <br />6. Reporting and Final Deliverable Requirem ent: Language was amended to require <br />applicants to submit a progress report every six months to the CWCB and the submittal <br />of a final report summarizing the proj ect and documenting how the project was <br />completed. <br />If approved by the CWCB and the IBCC, th e amended WSRA Criteria and Guidelines <br />7. <br />would take affect for grants being consid ered at the March 20 09 CWCB meeting.
