Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends funding up to $80,350 for th e Effects of Land Fallowing Study in the
Lower Arkansas Valley contingent upon th e Applicant satisfact orily addressing the
concerns in the issues/additional needs section of the attached summary sheet. If the
Board grants partial funding, please descri be in writing which funding sources will be
used to make up the shortfall. Alternativel y, the applicant could provide the CWCB with
a revised scope of work and an explanati on of how the revised scope will provide a
deliverable that is consistent with goals of the original.
It should be noted that pa st costs cannot be reimburs ed. All products, data and
information developed as a result of this gran t must be provided to CWCB in hard copy
and electronic format as part of the project documentation.
