September 8, 2008 <br />4. Other <br />Ken Spann indicated that the Agricultural Water Shortage Subcommittee will be preparing <br />and submitting a project proposal to the Roundtable for funding. Ken provided an <br />Agricultural Water Shortage Subcommittee Report and a Work Plan developed by Hal <br />Simpson of CDM. The proposal will be requesting Basin funding due to the rapid startup of <br />the project. The Upper Gunnison Water District will be the formal applicant and <br />administrator for handling of the funds. The objective of this project is to get and develop <br />the data needed to fill in the gaps on water shortages in the Needs Assessment data for the <br />entire Gunnison Basin. <br />The Agricultural Water Shortage Subcommittee will meet with both the Needs Assessment <br />Committee and the Project Screening Committee in preparation for submitting the project <br />proposal. <br />Next Meeting <br />The next meeting of the Gunnison Basin Roundtable will be October 6, 2008. <br />Ad'ourn <br />There being no further business to come before the Roundtable, the meeting adjourned at <br />7:12 p.m. <br />Mike Berry, Recorder <br />4
