I <br />'""';;"l(' <br /> <br />The Concrete Siphon Outlet Structure Looking West Across the Purgatoire River Valley <br /> <br />Proiect Descriotion <br /> <br />This project is the rehabilitation of a 1,000 foot long siphon of the Consolidated Mutual <br />Canallmder the Purgatoire River. The project included the replacement of 600 feet of wood stave <br />pipe with 48 inch diameter pre-cast concrete pipe and construction of a new concrete outlet <br />Structure. The concrete pipe was connected upstream to approximately 400 feet of existing 42 inch <br />diameter steel siphon pipe which was still in excellent condition after over 40 years of service.
